Select a location below, then:

1. Enter a deceased grandparent or other relative (use birth name for women), then Search (Just enter First and middle name, Last name, and the state where they died.)
2. Scroll through the possible choices for your relative, then tap the correct one.
3. Wait while a list of possible cousin matches is checked.
4. After you see who you are related to, select one to see how you are related.
5. Select your ancestor to see what information he/she has in the tree.

If you find that:

• Your grandparent/ancestor is not found (not in the shared FamilySearch tree), or
• You don't have any cousins in the place you selected, or
• Your ancestor has few or no Photos and Memories,

then you can find free help in building your family tree, finding online records about your ancestor, or adding photos, stories, documents, and audio recordings to your ancestor's page.
